Product Overview:

22 Amp / 192 Watt Laser Driver Overview

These high current and voltage current driver modules for laser diodes are designed to provide current and temperature control for multi-chip emitters and devices connected in series. They are high stability current sources with industry-leading protection features for semiconductor lasers.

Laser Driver Features

The laser driver can be run in a continuous wave (CW) or a pulsed (QCW) mode and has an integrated QCW pulse generator which generates microsecond to CW pulse widths. These modules will also work in with analog or digital modulation which can be applied through the rear panel DSUB connector.

Temperature Controller Features

The 192 Watt TEC controller is based on a full PID control loop, and the user has control of the PID variables to optimize the temperature settling time for the laser diode.

Laser Diode Driver Control and Interface

These drivers come with an RS232 serial interface and can also be ordered with a USB interface. LabView drivers are available at no additional cost. The laser current output is a high power rated DSUB connector and the Peltier-TEC connector is a standard 15 pin DSUB. Output cabling options and other accessories are available. Controller Power Input and Cooling

The controller operates from a standard 110~230 VAC power source, and can be used as a cost effective laboratory power supply or as an OEM module for integration into a laser system. These units have an integrated chassis fan to keep the current output stage cool and keep them operating reliably for years of continuous use.
