Product Overview:

Constant Current Laser Driver OEM Board:

The MOT600 series precision driver boards are designed to safely and accurately drive semiconductor laser diodes. These boards include the ModularOne Technologies MOT5550 / MOT6550 series laser driver module mounted to a simple to use OEM PCB board. In order to ensure that the MOT600 driver is connected correctly and functioning properly before connecting to your laser diode, these boards include an dummy load electrical diode which can be used to simulate the laser when no laser is present.

These OEM driver modules can be used in a stand alone mode. They include connectors which can be used for monitoring system parameters such as diode current and module temperature. On-board potentiometers can be used to set output current. Various control signals are also accessible, including output current control voltage and reset/shutdown functions. The control signals make it very easy to connect to a host control system, further simplifying system development. The user needs only to provide the appropriate supply voltages and the laser of choice, and can be up and running in minutes.
