ILX Lightwave LDM-4982 Laser Diode Heat Sink Overview
The ILX Lightwave LDM-4982 laser diode heat sink / mount is a high performance mounting and control solution for industry standard fiber coupled DIL and Mini-DIL packaged laser diodes. An optional integrated TEC module provides a wide temperature control range and fine tunes the temperature for spectroscopic applications. The LDM-4982 mount offers industry standard 9 pin D-sub input connectors and also offers configurable pin designations to accommodate multiple configurations. The mounting socket pin configuration can be changed by removing the bottom panel and re-configuring the jumper wires. The rear panel offers dSub connectors to interface directly with and ILX laser diode driver or TEC controller. An interface cable is require to connect the current source and TEC controller to the mount.
