A Complete Solution for Mounting and Control of High Power Multimode Laser Diode Pumps

These High Power Laser Diode Driver and mount units are compatible with AeroDIODE laser diodes as well as fiber-coupled pumps from companies such as nLight, Lumentum, IPG, and Lumics. These units offer a complete control and mounting solution with a 13 Amp laser diode current source that offers up to 23V compliance voltage. They include the laser driver, the TEC controller, Peltier coolers, and and fan-cooled heat sink base. The integrated TEC elements under the mounting plate keep the temperature stable and remove the heat. The TEC power is optimized for high power pump laser diodes. This control and mounting module is used primarily for CW mode. But it is also able to deliver pulses which are generated internally by an on-board pulse generator, or on-demand from an external analog modulation signal. This control and mounting module is very compact and offers an excellent pre-configured solution for OEM integration into your high power laser system.

USB and Control Software

The user can set and monitor all of the control parameters of the laser diode using the USB input and the supplied GUI software. These units ship with the USB cable to connect your PC to the connector on the side panel. A simple to use single page menu graphical user interface allows you to control all of the pulse or CW parameters as well as set current and temperature limits. Other features of these control modules include a daisy chain output, sync output, alarm monitor and back facet monitor output to monitor the laser power.
