Product Overview:

Butterfly Packaged Laser Diode Mount and Heat Sink Overview

This butterfly packaged laser diode mount and heat sink is one of a series of affordable solutions designed for laboratory R&D applications. The model BTY-T1-D9-ZIF features easy-to-use plastic clamping arms to reliably, securely press the laser diode's pins into the pad locations. Secure contact connection is essential to preventing any possibility of damage to the laser that can be caused by contact intermittency. A 9-pin D-Sub connector interfaces with the laser diode controller cable. The pre-configured laser diode pinout is Type-1, which is commonly used for 976nm pump lasers as well as most single frequency DFB and DBR laser diodes.
