Compact Pulsed Laser Diode Driver Overview

The model 773 from Analog Modules is a very compact, laser diode driver designed to provide up 10 118 Amps pulsed current for laser diode stack loads. These drivers offer fast rise and fall time specified at 25 microseconds into diode stacks of three to twenty-four volts and at avg. power to the load of 1 watt. These small footprint drivers weigh 2.1 oz. in a compact package and are very well suited to range finding applications. These drivers are convection cooled without the requirement for a heat sink, and offer multiple laser diode protection circuits.
