High Voltage, Compact, OEM Laser Diode Driver Overview
The ATLS6A201D is a through-hole PCB-mounted electronic module designed for driving diode lasers with up to 6000mA low noise current.
In order to maximize electrical and thermal efficiency, the output voltage of the driver is approximately 0.8V less than the input voltage. This feature allows the designer to tailor the system to the exact laser specifications, and maximizes overall system efficiency.
Maximum Stability in Real-World Environments
The controller has a temperature compensation network so that the output current remains stable even as the controller temperature rises. In case the controller temperature exceeds the preset limit of 120°C, the controller will shut down by itself to prevent the controller from being damaged by the excessive heat.

The ATLSxA201 Low-Noise OEM Laser Diode Driver series is available in a number of different output current ranges to suit a wide variety of applications. Drivers are available with the following maximum output current: 500mA, 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 6A. Inquire for information on the different options.
