Product Overview:

The TEC-336W model 336 Watt TEC controller is optimized for fast and accurate temperature stabilization of high power laser diodes and Peltier controlled thermal loads. They combine millidegree temperature stability control with high output power in an affordable laboratory instrument. These controllers offer a full PID loop for Peltier coolers and can quickly stabilize high heat loads to the desired temperature set-point to reduce the risk of damage to your laser. These controllers prevent over-temperature conditions which can quickly damage high power laser diodes. These controllers also offer control of an external fan which may be located in a remote heat sink or cooling block. The TEC-180W works with standard 10K ohm style thermistor sensors as well as IC style sensors such as PT100's. They include an RS232 interface with an optional USB interface. A front panel alphanumeric interface with a simple to use menu structure and key pad makes set up fast and intuitive. These units offer up to 7 amps and 48 volts of bipolar power to the Peltier element being used to cool your laser. They offer user adjustable upper and lower temperature limits for your laser diode as well as a current limit to protect the Peltier.

Dual Temperature Sensor Inputs:
These TEC controllers have two temperature sensor inputs, one for control of the TEC and one for control of an external fan sensor for high power fan based control applications. They support both NTC laser diode thermistors (ie 10K) as well as I.C. sensors such as the pt100. They can also be used to control other electro-optical devices in research and development or manufacturing test applications.

Front Panel and Remote User Interface:
These systems come with a standard RS-232 interface and can be ordered with an optional USB interface. LabView drivers are available at no charge. A LabView GUI makes set-up and control of the system fast and simple. The user also has complete control through an intuitive front panel menu / LCD display with a key pad.
