HIGH CURRENT, SHORT PULSE Laser Diode Driver

This high current, short pulse laser diode driver was developed for emerging applications in LiDAR to deliver clean, high power ultra-short current pulses. The output stage of the driver board has a mounting pad for laser diode package direct-solder mounting. It is designed to work with either 5.6mm or 9mm TO-can package styles. Direct-solder mounting of the laser diode on the circuit board eliminates the need for impedance matched cables and resistive elements.

Factory pre-sets for your application are offered at not additional charge and options for testing with your laser diode prior to shipment are available. The factory default pulse width set-point is 5 nanoseconds.
