300 Watt TEC-Based Cold Plate / Laser Diode Mount
The OCP-300 is a high power thermoelectric cooling system designed for OEM and laboratory / research applications for high power laser products, medical equipment, and semiconductor processing. It is also a convenient solution for general cooling of common fiber coupled lasers in laboratory environment.
The cold plate will be made to order with mounting hole patterns provided by customer. We also accept customer-supplied cold plates for installation in place of the standard cold plate.
Simple, Effective, and Proven Solution The OCP-300 is based on the popular and effective HS-004 fan-cooled heat sink. The addition of the TECs means more effective waste heat removal from high power laser diode modules, as well as the ability to hold a set temperature. The OCP-300 requires a high power bipolar thermoelectric cooler controller, such as the MC-1000-300.
The OCP-300 is prewired for easy set up. The TECs are connected in two series-wired sets, each set is rated at 7.5 A and 40 V. The TECs are sealed to prevent moisture incursion, and are rated to operate at up to 150ºC.
Customizable Options for Maximum Versatility and Ease-of-Use All heatsink modules can be ordered with optional IP68 fans for operating in harsh dust and liquid environments.
