2 Amp Picosecond Pulse Laser Controller Overview

The BLD-CW-2000H-ZIF is a compact, high-precision, OEM-type laser diode driver for powering 10-pin and 14-pin butterfly laser diode modules. The controller includes a low-noise laser, temperature controller, and employs ZIF sockets for unbeatable convenience.

Simple, Effective, Versatile Interface for OEM Applications

The main parameters of BLD-CW-2000H-ZIF (output current, pulse width, repetition frequency, temperature set point) are controlled by computer interface. Using the Control Center Driver software, a single laser controller can be controlled via the standard USB-interface. The controller can be ordered with an RS232 interface, or up to ten controllers can be managed by a single computer using the optional CAN interface and Ampliconyx CAN hub. By connecting controllers to the Ampliconyx CAN hub, up to ten drivers can be controlled simultaneously using the Ampliconyx Control Center Driver software.

Single Power Supply Input

To simplify powering the controller in OEM applications, the controller requires a single 5 VDC power source. All other needed voltages are generated on the board by high-efficiency switching power supplies.
