2 Amp Picosecond Pulsed Laser Controller Overview
AMP-BLD-6560-PS is a compact, short-pulse seed laser diode driver for powering 14-pin butterfly laser diode modules for applications which require pulse widths from 40 ps to 150 ps.
Pulsed Controller Features:
- Output pulse monitor via SMA-connectors
- 1.5 A, 6 Watt TEC controller with PID control loop
- Pulse Repetition Rate 1 kHz to 10 MHz
- TTL-external pulse repetition rate control, single-shot to 10 MHz
Simple, Effective, Versatile Interface for OEM Applications
The main parameters of AMP-BLD-6560-PS (output current, pulse width, repetition frequency, temperature set point) are controlled by computer interface. Using the Control Center Driver software, a single pulse controller can be controlled via the standard USB-interface.
The controller can be ordered with an RS232 interface, or up to ten controllers can be managed by a single computer using the optional CAN interface and Ampliconyx CAN hub. Inquire for details or to order the pulse driver with the different computer interface options.
By connecting controllers to the Ampliconyx CAN hub, up to ten drivers can be controlled simultaneously using the Ampliconyx Control Center Driver software.
Single Power Supply Input
To simplify powering the controller in OEM applications, the controller requires a single 5 VDC power source. All other needed voltages are generated on the board by high-efficiency switching power supplies.
