600 Watt High Power Laser Diode Driver Overview
The SmartPower M series laser diode drivers have been developed for the safe operation of diode lasers at high power levels. This high power laser driver is capable of up to 600 W output. Their simple operation through a front panel touch screen in combination with their modern microprocessor technology make them the first choice for laboratory and research applications.
Laser Diode Protection and High Power Laser Safety
When operating laser diodes at these very high power levels, safety is a top priority. These drivers are designed to be quickly and easily integrated into existing laser safety and security environments: the key switch and remote interlock to ensure a safe operation of the diode and the driver. To protect the laser diode, the driver is equipped with circuits to detect and mitigate the risk of damage from over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature conditions.
Laser Diode Driver Interface Options
The touch-screen front panel operation is easy to set up and use, and provides complete control over all the functions of the driver. The SmartPower M Series drivers can be ordered with an optional Ethernet connection for fast connection to a PC and switched in QCW mode by an external TTL signal. A control software is available for the user.
