Product Overview:

High Voltage, Compact, OEM Laser Diode Driver Overview

The ATLS1.5A104D is a through-hole PCB-mounted electronic module designed for driving diode lasers with up to 1500mA low noise current.

In order to maximize electrical and thermal efficiency, the output voltage of the driver is 2V less than the input voltage. This feature allows the designer to tailor the system to the exact laser specifications, and maximizes overall system efficiency.

Maximum Stability in Real-World Environments

The controller has a temperature compensation network so that the output current remains stable even as the controller temperature rises. In case the controller temperature exceeds the preset limit of 120°C, the controller will shut down by itself to prevent the controller from being damaged by the excessive heat.

Design and Application Flexibility

The output current of the ATLS1.5MA104D can be set by an input voltage linearly or modulated by an external large signal of up to 1.75MHz in bandwidth, resulting in a minimum 200nS rise and fall time (large signal) at the output current.
