DIL Package Laser Diode Mount

This laser diode mount provides an affordable, easy to use, and versatile solution for 14-pin DIL-packaged laser diodes. A shorting jumper is included on the circuit board to provide ESD protection to the laser diode. The jumper is installed while the laser diode is being installed, while the laser diode is disconnected from the driver, and during connection to the laser driver. This DIL package laser diode mount is compact, and provides effective dissipation of waste heat from the laser package. Additional heat dissipation capacity is gained by blowing air across the heatsink fins.
