Product Overview:

The LDP-V 40-70 is a nanosecond laser diode pulse driver manufactured by PicoLAS. This ultra-compact 32 mm x 15 mm module is optimized for applications requiring a small foot print. These nanosecond pulsing drivers with external control offer an adjustable pulse width from 15 nanoseconds to 1 microsecond with a repetition rate up to 100 kHz. They integrate an HV-DC source and the pulsing stage into small 4.8 cm² module. The laser diode can be mounted directly to the LDP-V 40-70, eliminating the need for strip line cables. The laser must be electrically isolated from earth (chassis) ground. These modules require only a single 15 VDC supply and a trigger signal. Key applications include LiDAR, ignition, range finding, biochemistry and short laser pulse measurement applications.
