Product Overview:

The LDP-V 03-100 is a small and inexpensive current source designed to generate precise nanosecond pulses for laser diodes. These devices are optimized for pulse repetition rates from single-shot up to 35 MHz with duty cycles up to 100%. The laser diode can be mounted directly onto the pulser, which eliminates the need for strip lines. The laser must be electrically isolated from earth (chassis) ground. Compatible packages which can be directly connected to the current output pads include 5.6 mm TO-cans (TO-18), 9 mm TO-cans (TO-5), TO-52 and other similar package styles. Despite its small size, the LDP-V pulser is designed for ease of use. There is no need for multiple peripheral supply accessories. It operates from a single 15~24 VDC power supply and a trigger signal. Additionally, the LDP-V can be extended with the PLCS-21 series controller to enable USB 2.0 communication with a PC or the operating unit PLB-21.
