Product Overview:

These ultra-high power laser diode drivers from Quantel offer up to 500 Amps of output current and up to 100 volts of compliance voltage. They can be configured for multiple high power current and voltage ranges. They offer a pulse duration of 20 microseconds to 3 milliseconds with an average power of 1 killowatt. These drivers offer output over voltage protection and over current protection, as well as short-circuit and open-circuit sensing. They can be run in a parallel mode for higher operation current. The power supply input voltage is rated for 85 VAC to 265 VAC, 45 - 65Hz (universal AC power) with a rated load. They have a specified output peak current from DC to 500 amperes and a pulse energy 150 Joules, maximum pulse duration from 20 to 3000 µs. The current rise time and fall time (10% - 90%) is 10 microseconds, but is highly dependent on the cabling. The pulse repetition frequency range is DC to 500 hertz (limited by pulse duration and average power). These laser diode drivers offer pulse to pulse stability of < 0.10% and jitter of less than 100 nanoseconds.
