Laser Diode Controller with Multiple Integrated Fiber Laser Control Functions:
The CCS-CENTRAL module was developed specifically to shorten the development time and reduce the costs associated with the manufacturing of fiber lasers. These modules integrate two laser diode drivers, 6 photodiode measurement/control circuits, a pulse-picker synchronization tool and multiple other fiber laser control functions. They are compatible with almost all fiber laser architectures: Mode-locked, Q-Switch, MOPA with any oscillator, EOM modulation, Gain Switch, Microchip etc.
Control Electronics for Pulsed Seed & CW Pump Laser Diodes:
The CCS-CENTRAL includes one pulsed / CW channel for a seed laser diode and one CW channel for a pump laser diode. They provide a simple way to control the multiple security stage ON/OFF requirements of complex multistage fiber lasers. Their response time, low noise, resolution and interlocks have been optimized for the requirements of seed & pump lasers used in fiber lasers. The pulse driver current range is up to 3.5 amps in pulsed mode, and the current range is 1.5 amps in continuous wave mode. Pulse generation is done internally using an internal function generator, or pulses can be delivered from an external source to the SMA connector on the side panel. High repetition rates are available up to 250 MHz. These modules offer a USB interface.
