Product Overview:

The LDC-161 high power laser diode driver offers a maximum output of up to 700 Watts (60 Amps @ 12 Volts) and can operate in constant current CW or pulsed Quasi-CW mode. These high power drivers also feature multiple levels of protection for your laser and remote interface with LabView drivers and control software. A high efficiency design with high reliability components offer long life operation. These units are integrated into industrial lasers systems used in harsh environments as well as laboratory R&D applications. They are typically used to drive high power multi-mode lasers in the 808 nm through 980 nm range for pumping applications. A low impedance copper cable can be purchased with these units to optimize the QCW pulse mode of performance. The low impedance cable option is highly recommended for high power pulsing applications to achieve the shortest possible rise and fall times.
